i wwowouwoulwould allow the tomatoes tho grow so we could have more food grown in the same amount of area so it could help reduce world hunger and help make world peace. also with the stop of war we can be techntechnologically more advanced and aliens will finally come and visit us and make us even more advanced

Although this may be true the food will not be used to feed the poor and hungry as a atter of fact the way we live now it would cost all the more to get food

Tomatoes have been mutated by the Elephant genes from the Agricultural Company and have grown to 50% or larger. If they could make tomatoes larger, the could also make other food produce bigger and with the result of the mutating, it can stop children from starving. According to Dr. Phil, there is 1 in 5 children who are starving. These people are your neighbors and friends or friends children.

What i think about all of this is that it is really unnecessary because tomatoes should be left alone to grow natuarally, not to be spliced by elephant genes. It is not natural and what if there are some possible effects that can be harmful? To me, tomatoes would just be more gross than it already was before. Also, maybe the elephants are being harmed for their genes. I know it sounds silly but anything can be possible. Tomatoes should not be the size of a pumpkin, that is really irregular.

I think this is a wrong way of doing things to our food this is an injustice of to creation and shouldn't be used to make our food bigger

I believe that this is unnessisary although it may provide a larger food supply but the sheer fact that we are resorting to , i would say low, standard of producing food to feed not the hungry but the ones who have the means of ''affording" it

I believe that splicing the genes of a elephant into tomatoes can possibly contribute to the health community and make large strives in commercial food.

I think it's not necessary to try & mutate the Tamato it's a good size as it is. I haven't found any logical reason for the tomato to be genetically mutated to be larger. And plus tamatos are nasty why make them bigger.

I believe that making tomatoes 50% bigger can help starvation, but how do we know this experiment won't be harmful to elephants, or to people in a way. I just think this can be harmful and maybe not be. Thts what i think of splicing elephant genes into tomatoes.

I believe that the tomatoes should stay it's natrual size. You should leave it alone let it grow it's natrual traits and genes. There's no need to splice elephant genes to make the tomatoes bigger. What about if splicing the tomatoe with the elephant genes have some kind of side affect that could affect or harm thehuman body. They should test it and then maybe th ey should splice the tomatoe with elphant genes.

In my opinion, this is kinda pointless. There is nothing wrong with the tomatoes we have now. I think that the tomatoes we have now should stay the same. Anyways, this splicing is pointless and a waste of time guys. Mrs. Mac this will not solve world hunger (:

no i would not because the tomatoes would be enhence whith things that are not natural. Plus we dont know if the elephant gene is going to harm us through the tomatoes

I think we should leave the tomatoes the way they are . Because some side affects could happen to the people who eat them . Anything can go wrong when you mess with nature ...

Now lets get things straight..this isn't going to hurt elephants in any way shape or form (Source http://bioproject1768.tumblr.com/ ) so there should not be anyone "Feeling bad" about eating foods derived from spliced genes. Secondly this will not create peace because War does not stem from a lack of food (Source: it just doesn't ), so forget world peace and the aliens finally coming to earth because the world is "Peaceful", war will never cease, disagreements are inevitable. And yes, this would make the food companies market these cheaper because of the high abundance would decrease rarity and value (Source: Economy) As for the whole "Side effects will harm people" issue, This is why scientists do testing and lab work, this is why we have the FDA..for those of you who do not know what this is go here http://www.fda.gov/. What would I do in an event such as this? I would buy the product and consume it like I did before because ultimately nothing but size has changed.
